Members can be protected against threats to their jobs, unfair dismissal, victimization, sexual

SDA staff members are dedicated and experienced in all levels of industrial relations.
Confidential Advice
Immediate confidential advice can be provided to members on a wide range of workplace issues, over
the phone or in person. The union only takes action on members' behalf when specifically instructed to
do so.
Awards Agreements and information
Up-to-date copies of all relevant awards and agreements covering the terms and conditions of
employment are available through the SDA.
Enterprise Bargaining
An Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) offers members security of wages and conditions for a set period of time. It is a democratic
process that gives workers the opportunity to express their opinions on what should go into a new
Agreement. SDA experts then negotiate with management on behalf of members to achieve those requirements.
The SDA knows how to get the job done and deliver the wages and conditions that its members want and
deserve.
