SDA Hair & Beauty

The Shop Distributive and Allied Employee's Association (SDA) can boast of over 240,000 members throughout Australia with over 6,000 members from Tasmania alone. The majority of membership is via the retail and fast food outlets. However, there are two other divisions to the SDA - Models and Mannequins and Hairdressing and Beauty.

Early in 2006, the SDA concentrated greater resources in the Hairdressing and Beauty Divisions, which was subsequent to the new modernised Award being implemented. It is our opinion that, together, these two sectors can escalate to great heights and compliment each other in the process.

The SDA prides itself on not only working for employees but also developing a rapport with management and business owners.
